I have had some requests for some more images of our newest family member.  Madeleine is working on her modeling already.  At times she was the perfect subject and just as quickly she would give me that “look” that says “I am finished.”  How can you not smile at their personalities.

Been kind of busy the past few days as you will see below.

Let me introduce you to Madeleine our new little bundle of joy.  Born yesterday at St. Joseph hospital.  Both mom and baby are doing well.

A few weeks ago some local photographers and I got together to practice some photography with a bride and groom.  We had a fun time trying some new things.  Below are a few of the resulting images.

I thought I might share a recent “Thank You” card from a wedding a few months ago.    

Makes a person feel all warm with a note like that! 

The part I liked the best is that they enjoyed the process and felt that the resulting images were “real”.  Beautiful images that only conjure up the painful process of making them would seem like a useless process.  To me, photography is “experiential” for the couple and as well for me.  Just as a certain fragerance will remind us of an experience, (fresh chocolate chip cookies out of the oven remind me of my mother when she would make them when I was little) photography will also bring back those moments.  My hope is that their wedding images have created a mental ”tag” to remind them of  the fun we had together and more importantly how they felt toward each other at that moment on their special day.
